Our office has been continuously operating since 1979, and we have a great deal of experience in the treatment of all obstetrical and gynecologic conditions. Our mandate is to be the most knowledgeable, the most compassionate, and the kindest caregivers possible. Dr. Robert McGuire started Cheyenne OB/GYN in 1979. In March of 1988, Dr. Sharon Eskam joined our practice. In July 1988, Dr. David Lind moved back to Cheyenne from Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Bert Wagner joined COG in 1991. Dr. Mary-Ellen Foley left the warm climate of North Carolina to join us in Wyoming in 1994. Dr. Mike Nelson came to us in 2005 following his residency in Colorado. Dr. Katie Randall is originally from Albuquerque and joined us in August of 2006. Our newest physician is Dr. Lisa Vigue, who just joined us in August 2009. Our nurse practitioners are Jean Mages and Michelle Edwards-Turner and our certified nurse midwife is Phyllis Tarr. We do our own on-site ultrasounds. We are the only AIUM accredited ultrasound site in Wyoming. We have 3 ultrasonographers, Jackie Ryan, Melissa Tinney and Alicia Young. Many of the physicians in our group have been Chief of OB/GYN at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center at different times. Dr. Lind is currently serving as Chief of Staff of CRMC. At present, Dr. Wagnerrecently finished 16 consecutive years as either the chairman or vice-chairman of the department of OB/GYN at CRMC. Dr. McGuire was appointed by Governor Sullivan to the Wyoming Board of Medicine and served 8 years in that position. Dr. Lind is now the Chief Medical Officer at CRMC. We average approximately 75 deliveries per month and surgically perform approximately 300 major cases and about 205 minor cases per year. Dr. McGuire and Dr. Wagner currently are doing GYN only.Our building’s first floor contains a medical lab so no driving elsewhere and a separate appointment is not necessary for most lab testing. If you need laboratory testing beyond what we usually perform in the office, many times it can be done at the same time as your visit without an additional appointment or trip. Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Laboratory is located at 2301 House Avenue, Suite 105. Phone number is 1-307-432-3150. The hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There is also a handy pharmacy (Hoy's hospital pharmacy) in the first floor lobby for your convenience in filling prescriptions.
Our office is located on the 4th floor of the medical office building, which is the same floor as Children’s Clinic, and conveniently adjoined to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. We have a covered parking garage so there is no need to get out in the snow and rain when you come to our office. |
